Johnathon Skinner, LCSW
Johnathon Skinner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Georgia Southern University, Johnathon served as a substance abuse counselor for a year, before going back to get his Master’s in Social Work from Georgia State University. At Georgia State, Johnathon had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations, including aging adults, individuals with disabilities, and refugee families.
Johnathon then moved to Michigan for three years, where he served as a Multisystemic Therapist working with families and youth facing barriers relating to behavioral health. Johnathon continued his work in Multisystemic Therapy for another year after moving back to the Atlanta-area, but ultimately chose to move away from Multisystemic Therapy to turn his focus towards serving the community at Medlin Treatment Center.
